I currently am a freelance front-end web designer and developer based out of Ontario, Canada. I have over 5 years of experience designing and developing front-end solutions for clients needing a digital presence. I'm a 21st century graduate of the Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University where I studied composition, conducting, and vocal performance. I'm involved in the tech-world and the community as the logistics manager for the Pillar Award winning Project Play, as well as a co-host on the Canadian Tech Podcast, and co-managing Primus: Amabile Men's Chorus.

< Community Involvement />

  1. Volunteer Mentor, Ladies Learning Code London — 2013 - Present

    Ladies Learning Code is a not-for-profit group aimed at bringing equal representation in the programming world to women. At each event they have wonderful volunteer teachers and mentors to take the participants through 6 hour courses designed to give a basic understanding to various different web based programming languages.

  2. Logistics Manager, Project Play — 2012 - Present

    Project Play is Southwestern Ontario’s biggest hands-on gaming event, where all proceeds from the event go towards purchasing gaming bundles for community organizations in London and the surrounding area, where they can provide positive experiences for younger gamers and their families in times of crisis and difficulty. It is the proud recipient of the 2013 Pillar NonProfit Network Community Innovation Award.

    The Amabile Choirs of London, Canada are a group of 8 choirs with members ranging from aged 8 through to adults that strive to create wonderful choral experiences as well as educating members and mastering artistic excellence.

    During his time at Handcrafted Furniture Jamieson not only developed the website and marketing material, but worked on learning how to construct and finish pieces of handcrafted furniture.
